Flower Alternatives: Buttons

This is one of my favorite and most quirky substitutions for flowers! Using buttons instead of flowers adds a layer of whimsy and fun to any wedding celebration. And it’s not just for the bouquets- you can make bouttonnieres, corsages, and even centerpiece/decor items with buttons! It might take alot of time to round up the buttons if you wanted to DIY these projects, but there are lots of resources online for bulk buttons. And if you’re not the DIY type, there are some really fabulous ETSY sellers (a few listed below) that make these gorgeous creations that would still leave you having spent less than real flowers!
Check out some of these fab examples I’ve rounded up:

Love the boutonnieres and the decor – the salt and pepper vase is adorable!
Great ideas – I especially like the Ball jar/ivory button arrangement!
Aww, buttons are so cute! We just featured a wedding in which the bridal party had button bouquets and boutonnieres (they got them from etsy). Here's the link if you want to see
