Flower Alternatives: Silk

Of course if you still want the look of fresh flowers you can always go the silk/faux flower route! Using fake flowers means you could re-use them as centerpieces in your home or sell them to another bride and recoup some of your money. Here are some lovely examples of silk flower arrangements I’ve found around the web.

You might remember these bouquets for this BS-WOW of Katrina and Alex! They were made by the bride’s sister in law, Heather Boyd, who started Boyd Bouquets creating faux flower bouquets for brides!

  1. these are great and look really lovely. we ordered some silk recently for a bridesmaid who has severe allergies to everything- haha! great round-up.

  2. Very pretty. We used silks in our centerpieces and I think they looked gorgeous!
