I love love love the idea of a wedding photobooth – what a great way to get guest photos that capture the fun and energy of the event! I stumbled upon these photobooth pics recently and I am totally swooning over them. Damask wallpaper and old picture frames will be an awesome addition to our “vintage badass rock n’ roll” wedding! Now, to roll up my sleeves, buy some plywood, grab a saw (and my fiance!), and do my best to DIY this awesomeness. I’ll be sharing pics of this project as I tackle it, so stay tuned!

I also found this sweet hand-painted black and white photo backdrop, and I dig the retro feel and simple colour scheme. If you’re not-so-crafty to be able to paint this yourself…how easy would it be just to cover a large board with this awesome Graham & Brown “Frames” wallpaper <http://www.grahambrown.com/us/product/52050/Frames%20:%20Black%20&%20White%20Wallpaper?show=> ?

And of course, no photobooth would be complete without wicked props. We’re planning on sourcing out some vintage hats, sunglasses, scarves, and other fun things to use at our wedding, but I’m also loving these super cute “props on a stick” from Maro Designs on Etsy.

What do you think about wedding photobooths? Are they tons o’ fun, or really lamesauce? If you’ve had a photobooth at your wedding, what unique things did you to to make it “yours”?

after this post, i expect to be wearing a fu-man-chu in photos from your wedding.
I love photo booths! They are really fun and you get some great photos from them. I also love a good mustache on a stick. I would carry one around all the time if I could get away with it…
Love the props! I just ordered a bunch of them for our photobooth!
this is so cute! I love the photo booths!
go with the phonebooth. and make sure the "hello?" sign and the fu-man-chu are there because everyone needs a picutre of me like that!!!!
I love photobooths, and I'm trying to figure out how to fashion my own for my wedding next year, since a rental is not in our budget..
I really love photobooths!! It's something that E & I really wanted to do but had to cut due to budget, space, etc. I still wish we'd had one… I think they are SO fun!
