FFF: Pearl & Plum

I know it has been AGES since I’ve done a Frugal Fashion Friday post and I can only blame it on the fact that I have been BUSY. Having a full time job is time-consuming, y’all! But ya know, one of the benefits of said job is a paycheck, so I finally have money to do a little shopping (still on a budget, of course) so I’ve been making the rounds again after months off the department store floors.

If you’re a budget-savvy shopper like me, you must already be shopping at Kohl’s. Not only do they have awesome sales like, ALL the time, but if you sign up for their charge card they send you tons of coupons for additional savings on your purchases. I flippin LOVE me some Kohl’s, so I decided to devote an entire FFF outfit to the store where I like to shop till I drop. This whole tres chic outfit costs under $130 before tax. Now, that’s style for a steal! I’d love to see this look in an engagement shoot, or worn for a rehearsal dinner. LOVE!

White Peep Toe Pumps – $29.99

Simulated Pearl Twisted Necklace - $13

Simulated Pearl & Crystal Drop Earrings – $7.80

Simulated Pearl Stretch Bracelet Set – $9.10

Ruffled Sheath Dress – $69.99

Total: $129.88

  1. I could totally see that as a bridesmaid dress too! And what a deal that would be! I will have to go look for those dangly earrings now. :]

I love that dress! I saw a very similar one at Marshall's the other day in red–it was hot!

  2. Wow, this is great! I love the dress and the pearls really add a dash of elegance. I like the way the ruffle of the shoes matches the ruffle of the dress – good eye! I didn't know you got more coupons if you signed up for the Kohl's card! I got a pair of silver heels there for my bridesmaid outfit a few months ago and they looked great and were only $25.

thanks! yes- and you don't have to leave a balance on your card. I use the card to get the discounts but pay the balance on the spot! TOTALLY worth it! The coupons they send in the mail are for between 15-30% off on top of the sale prices. Kohl's rocks!

  3. Holy garbage, this is an awesome frugal fridays post. I LOVE this outfit and all of the accessories!
