The new and improved BSB!
After spending countless hours studying HTML code, CSS, and fiddling with our servers, domains, etc, I am proud to finally share our new look! It’s not a drastic change, but overall I think it’s alot cleaner, and alot easier on the eyes. I definitely feel a HUGE sense of accomplishment for figuring out this stuff all by myself!
I just have to say it, I am OBSESSED with Jessica Hische and her gorgeous font Buttermilk. She is so inspiring to me… she creates the most beautiful designs- I can’t even dream of things that pretty. I drooled over her font for months before finally breaking down and buying it to incorporate into our new look. And I confess that I am in LOVE with it.
Some new features you might notice is a tab at the top for Budget Savvy Weddings. There you will find links to all of our BS-WOW posts! TONS of savvy inspiration, right at your fingertips! There’s also a sub-tab for wedding submissions, so keep them coming so we can continue to show what is possible when you are budget savvy.
Also in the near future we will be adding a tab for DIY projects. Please let me know if there are any particular projects you’d like to be featured and I can work on some tutorials for you all! And feel free to submit projects and tutorials of your own if you’d like to share!
If you experience any problems, or have any other suggestions for this blog, please don’t hesitate to let me know. You can always email me here. And if you’ve emailed me before, you already know that I LOVE hearing from readers!

In other news…
Today is my 26th birthday. *GASP* I can’t believe I’m already 26! I am blessed to be able to share my special day with E, who requested off today. I’m looking forward to making my appointment for my oh-s0-very-needed massage sometime soon. Our plans for the day include just hanging out together with Knox and Steve Perry.
Speaking of Knox, we are starting to realize that he is definitely not full blooded beagle. Obviously, that’s not a big deal because we totally love him anyway. How could you not love this face? Our best guess is that he is mixed with Chihuahua! At nearly 14 weeks old, he only weighs like 7.5 lbs. He’s teeny!! He’s nearly doubled in weight since we got him but he is still a small little guy. He’s more than half the size of Steve Perry now and they can often be seen playing tag in our house and wrestling with each other! Steve Perry cries whenever one of us takes Knox outside- I think they are starting to like each other.
Tonight we are going to dinner with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Mexican food, YUM! Thanks, as always for reading. I look forward to seeing what my 26th year has in store for me and this blog. I think it’s gonna be a great year!
