The Budget Savvy Bride

I’m seriously on the verge of losing my mind. Please pardon my mess around here… like I said last week my Photobucket went over the alloted bandwidth and all of my past images won’t be visible until Saturday… I wouldn’t even attempt to move them to another place at this point- what a waste of time and not to mention a huge headache. So I hope you all don’t mind- it should take care of itself by the weekend. I don’t really know what to think about the whole bandwidth situation- I mean, it’s a good thing because that means I’ve been getting alot of readers over here checking things out, but on the other hand now you can’t see any of the pretty pictures I spend so much time finding. Oh well, like I said, Saturday things should return to normal!

This weekend I went to visit one of my bridesmaids, HB. It was so great to see her! She’s just a fun person to be around overall and I needed a little fun in my life! She even got us massages for Saturday which was such an incredible surprise! I’ve really been feeling stressed and sore lately with everything going on and a massage was just what I needed! I just have some great friends!!

As of right now, my disc of e-pics is in transit to my hands as we speak. So I look forward to sharing them on the blog as soon as the disc comes in. Thanks to anyone who stopped by the pictage site to check them out. Especially you, Fakey McFaker… haha- I found that quite funny.

Also, stay tuned for my Save-The-Date options- I’m having a hard time deciding which one to use so I want to put it to a vote by my readers to see which one you like best! (The STDs use our e-pics, which is why I haven’t shown them to you yet, either.) I am SOOOOO ready to get them out of the way and out the door!

I’ve also been working on our wedding website AND a photo guest book- busy busy busy times!! Not to mention I am possibly going to start doing some freelance album design work for 2 different photographers in my area. It’s a busy time for this bride. Oh, and did I mention that I haven’t even settled on a guest list yet? Or even have a rough number? Yeah… I’ve got a lot to do! Keep your fingers crossed for me, say some prayers, and send those good vibes my way. I’m gonna need it so I don’t freak out. :)

I apologize for being so sporadic with the posting, but it’s probably just gonna be that way again this week. There are some exciting things coming up in the near future. I hope you’ll stick around to see them! :) Don’t give up on me, I promise to deliver the goods once I get my head above water!

  1. Wow…, sorry you are having trouble…, I am fairly new to the blogging world and just hate the idea of “technical difficulties!” Scares the heck out of me!

Let me know if I can help with any of your planning!

  2. Oh that is soo irritating! I used Photobucket a TON when I was planning, but since I’ve moved over to Flickr. (I didn’t move things from one place to another though. I agree, TON of time.) What I like more about Flickr and making sets and also when you want a different size of a photo, you click “All Sizes” and there are 4 there, with the HTML code for each. You don’t have to resize to what you want and thus have 3-4 copies of the same photo… (that you can’t tell which size is which in thumbnail view.) Hope that helps!
