Any questions? | The Budget Savvy Bride
The Budget Savvy Bride

I’ve been a little drained lately, I don’t have a HUGE amount of wedding stuff going on right now since we’ve got the big stuff covered. Hopefully soon I’ll figure out when E & I will take our engagement pics and that’ll be something fun to share! I started Operation Bootcamp yesterday and let me tell you- they’re not messing around. 6 AM, Monday through Friday I’ll be getting my booty kicked for the next 3 months!! I am walking around my office like Frankenstein- I can’t bend my appendages. It’s pretty pathetic really. :(

I was so intrigued when Erin from the Blue-Eyed Bride blog opened up to accept questions from her readers- she got some interesting ones and some silly ones- but I thought it’d be a fun thing to try out. I hope I don’t completely embarrass myself by no one asking me any questions!! So if there’s anything you want to know about me, my life, this blog thing I’ve got here, or whatever else (within reason, of course) leave a comment below and ask away! I’ll try to answer as fully and honestly as possible. :)

Please ask me some questions so I don’t look like a total fool, k? :)

i found that as we are slowly starting our wedding planning that my FH has opinions on the weirdest things… and weird maybe b/c i just thought that maybe he wouldn’t care about a particular issue – tux vs. suit… or even bigger in regards to church vs. outdoor venue. Did you find that you found out things or opinions about your FH that surprised you a bit? Or discovered issues that you didn’t think would be issues?

I read you say you are a graphic designer, but what kind of company do you work for? Do you love your job or would you rather be doing something else?

    Hey!

I have a wedding tip for you — make your own centerpieces. I saved a bundle finding candle sets and creating my own floral accents to go with them. Also, make your own favors.

How is Bootcamp? Do you think it’s worth the effort? Is it fun? I’m looking for a weightloss program.

Also, how did you like the NY trip and Martha Stewart? I’d love more details.

    Hi Jessica,

I think this is the first blog I have ever written! I’m only in my late 30′s and already feel a little outdated with new technology. I wanted to tell you that I LOVE reading your blog every 3-4 days to catch up on your wedding plans and new money saving ideas! Some things have changed quite a bit since I was married (12 years ago!) Just remember not to sweat the small stuff.

Kudos to you for doing the bootcamp! I try to go to 2 classes at the gym on Mon/Wed/Fri. and usually, if I make it to all 6 classes, I can’t move for a few days either. So I feel your pain, sista! Keep up the hard work, though. You’ll be so happy with and proud of yourself for sticking it out.

Speaking of Guilty pleasures… I know this is something you’re trying to avoid lately, but what is your favorite icecream?

    Hi Jessica,

I try to read your blog at least twice a week. I enjoy reading of the interesting things you come up with for weddings. Keep up the bootcamp it will be well worth your effort. You will be tired at first but you will come to enjoy it.

Have you decided where you are going on your Honeymoon?
