It’s Maddy from Somewhere Splendid and Confetti Pop again, which means it’s time for yet another Blooms on a Budget! Today’s arrangement comes from a reader request for affordable arrangements in a black, white, and gold color palette - very chic! Some gorgeous black centered white anemones really bring the graphic look into this arrangement, and the gold whimsical ruscus compliments it with a softer look.

Note that this arrangement uses gold sprayed greenery, which Blooms by the Box does not carry in a pretreated form. Floral safe spray can be purchased for $6 or $7, and the amount of paint used by this arrangement is worth very little. The price of the leaves was already rounded up and covers the cost of them if they are spray painted.

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s Maddy from Somewhere Splendid and Confetti Pop again, and I’m excited to bring this week’s installment of Blooms on a Budget. Today’s arrangement is another special request from Ez of Creature Comforts for her sister’s purple hued wedding. Instead of going with stronger purple accents, today’s arrangement has subtle lavender tones that are brought in by some misty blue limonium.

Note on the budget for this one: a bunch of limonium costs roughly $20. A small sprig of limonium, as used here, costs closer to 50 cents a piece, but the price is rounded up. You can probably get roughly 30 or 40 similarly styled pieces out of the bunch.

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s Maddy from Somewhere Splendid and Confetti Pop again, and I’m excited to bring you our first arrangement that is officially sponsored by Blooms by the Box. Today’s arrangement is a special request from Ez of Creature Comforts (love her and her blog!) for her sister’s purple hued wedding.

A special tip for everyone, because I get a lot of questions on the topic: the flower vessels I use are the perfect size for most parties. However, catering tables like those at weddings are generally slightly larger scale (seating ten, sometimes more, at each), so you may want to consider doubling the size of the arrangement if you’re using them for weddings and larger events. If that’s not in your budget, consider adding 50% more flowers, incorporating candles into your tablescape, or even a combination of both!
