So I’ve had some exciting things happen this week! Meg at A Practical Wedding (One of my favorite blog reads- sometimes I feel like Meg is talking directly to me- saying “Jessica, calm the heck down! All that matters is that you get married, don’t get caught up in the inconsequential crap!”) Well Meg held a contest based on Modern Bride’s “I’m a Modern Bride because…” and twisted it to be “I’m a practical bride because…” and one of my comments was chosen as runner up! I didn’t win a prize but it’s still pretty sweet. I was excited to see my words up there, especially since I love her blog so much.

Also, I just happened to leave the 100th comment over on Kimberly Hurst Photography blog, and the sweet thing that she is sent me a $10 iTunes gift certificate! Soooo cool! Go check out her work, it’s fantastic, by the way! Ever since I’ve gotten my iPhone I’ve been downloading music and videos like CRAZY! I can’t wait to pick something out… I’ve had my eye on the Kate Nash CD for a while, I might just have to get it!

Yay for Blog love… I can’t even tell you how much blogging is changing my life… day to day and week to week. I appreciate every person that stops by here and takes the time to read what I have to say. I checked my stats today… I’ve had just under 7,000 views since I started this little blog… and over 200 wonderful comments-I can’t believe it! And I’ve got 62 subscribers according to my google reader… a few weeks ago I was the only one subscribed to my blog! (Sad, but true.) It’s just crazy and I really enjoy reading all the inspirational blogs out there so I hope you all enjoy reading mine. I truly love reading any comment or email I get from my readers- you are all so helpful and bring up things that I never would have thought about. So thanks to you all for making me smile and being part of my journey. Tootles!
