Becky’s Wedding Day Recap!!
Hello my Budget-Savvy lovelies! I apologize for the delayed wedding recap. My husband and I were tanning ourselves silly on our honeymoon cruise for the past two weeks. It was heaven.
But now I am back to the real world, as a very married lady. It’s still slightly surreal. I’m getting used to a hyphenated last name and I’ll be tackling the legal process once we receive the abstract of marriage. Oh the fun things we have to look forward to…
Looking back on our wedding, I have to say it went better than I could have imagined. A wedding in February in Ohio is always a risk, but we lucked into sunny skies and mid-forty temperatures. It doesn’t get much better than that!! And my photographer gave us the best one month anniversary present: our photographs. Enjoy!

HONEYMOON!!! Part 5?
These are just some random pics from the last days of our honeymoon. By that point I had lost interest in taking many photos so I didn’t take any the last full day we were there. We spent a little too much time at the swim up bar, if you know what i’m saying.
When you go to a resort they like to do silly things like this to your towels:

Me rocking my favorite dress- Marshall’s- $19.99! What what?

E was watching South Park on my laptop… how romantic.

Re-rocking my rehearsal dinner dress for our one fancy dinner night at the resort.

I love this pic!

Yes, I am THAT girl who takes pics of her food. This was like some kind of mango salad. Yummy.

I don’t even remember what I ordered for dinner but those mashed potatoes have a Power T made of carrots… they must’ve known I love the VOLS!
(Truth be told I didn’t eat much of my dinner because it didn’t sit well with me. I ended up getting sick later that night! No bueno)

This is the last pic I have from our honeymoon! I think it’s a good one to end on.
Our Wedding on the Web: Inspired Goodness
Our Wedding is being featured on Inspired Goodness!! Such a fabulous blog- it is an incredible honor to be a featured Real Wedding!
IG is a wonderful source for inspiration and eye-candy from fabulous weddings- it’s been one of my fave blogs since I started blog stalking many moons ago…
A few words from Kimberly, “A talented graphic designer and DIY extraordinary, so many of the details from this event were crafted and designed by this talented bride. From the vibrant yellow and turquoise color scheme to the glamour of her bridal veil, Jessica and Eric took a series of roller-coaster events, paired them with cost-cutting measures and even though a few last minute scrambles came into the picture, the result was a beautiful and heart-felt wedding.”
But wait, there’s more. You can read it here. and here.
Thanks Kimberly for the wonderful feature! I’ve never gotten such a rave review before!
Our Wedding : The Exit
We exited to bubbles and Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey.
Everyone described it as the ‘longest exit ever’ because we wanted to stay and jam, and we probably stopped and hugged like every person on the way out… haha

Welp- that’s the end of the recaps, folks! I am not going to share the random candids of people you don’t know or care about… LOL. I’m hoping to share video once I figure out how to edit it, and I will include detail pics when I do the budget breakdowns which I plan to start on Monday!!! Get excited!
Our Wedding : BM & MOH Toasts
I don’t have written copies of their speeches so I can’t share them with you in their entirety… but I’m pretty sure E’s Best Man was just ‘winging it’ since he didn’t have a piece of paper in his hand. He told a story about how he and E jumped in an algae infested pool during college when UT won a big upset game. Nice…. LOL. But he tied it in nicely with a Boy Scout quote…
My MOH S gave a heartfelt speech- my favorite part was when she was talking about when she met E, she could tell that I didn’t feel the need to pretend to be anything but myself. And she said, “‘just Jessica’ is the best Jessica there is.” I thought it was really sweet!
And then she ended the speech with ‘Huzzah!’ Which everyone seemed to enjoy.
It’s so surreal having people you love making speeches for you! But it’s a really special part of the day.
