helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

I happened to stop in my local Hasting’s store in Murfreesboro yesterday while waiting for my passport photos to get printed across the street at Walgreen’s- and lo and behold the goodies I found in their magazine section!

Of course, Martha Stewart Weddings is one of the only bridal magazines I purchase regularly, but I couldn’t contain my excitement when I saw the premiere issue of Southern Weddings magazine sitting next to it on the shelves! It’s not supposed to be out until next week- so I couldn’t resist snagging a copy. The ladies of SW mag did such a fantastic job on the mag- it was so exciting to see so many of my wedding industry faves within the pages of the publication. The details and photos will take your breath away! I especially loved the special on Amy Atlas- she’s so talented! The section on photographers who shoot film instead of digital was awe-inspiring and the article about Dr. Gary Chapman’s 5 love languages was a personal fave. (I loved his book!) All in all i think SW is a great publication and look forward to many more issues! I know you ladies put your hearts and souls into making this magazine and it shows. I truly congratulate all of you on your hard work! :)

Hi! I’ve been following your blog, but fell off for a couple months. When I came back to it today, I read all your recent posts, and vents;-), and can’t help but relate. I just moved back in with my parents upon noticing I wouldn’t be able to afford the wedding AND my apt. It’s STILL a struggle, and just the other day I was in tears over all the things I have yet to pay for. But I want you to know, YOU inspired me to keep my head up. This wedding planning stuff is no joke, but your upbeat and positive spirit are almost y, will carry you thru. Thank you for that. You and E will be together before you know it. I’ve been away from my honey A for the past 5 months, and it definitely strengthens the relationship. MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND E!!!!
