When it comes to entertaining– whether it’s a dinner party or your wedding day– it’s always good to treat your guests well. It’s nice to anticipate things your guests might want or need because it makes them feel cared for and special. One simple and inexpensive treat you can share with your guests is offering a coffee station with hot beverages. Who doesn’t love a tasty cup of coffee or tea with their dessert? Normally the issue of different tastes would make this sort of offering cost-prohibitive, but thanks to the magic of the Single Cup brewing systems from Keurig – accommodating different flavors is a total NON-issue!

The kind folks at Keurig sent us over one of their new Keurig Elite brewers and we put together a simple but cute DIY Coffee Station that you could easily set up at your wedding reception or bridal shower. My friend and talented photographer Brandi of Alexis June Weddings was kind enough to join me for a little coffee party and took the lovely shots of my display. Take a look below:

I kept things simple and used various items I already had on hand, including a decorative tray, plate, and candle holders. We added a little color with a single flower stem – easy and inexpensive!

For an extra special touch, I created custom labels for the K-Cups. Who doesn’t love a personalized label? I know I do. I used the Avery 22807 labels (2 inch circles) and created the design using the free templates available on the Avery website- it was so easy! I printed them at home on my printer.

I picked up some simple cups and napkins at a party supply store for a few dollars each. I am kind of obsessed with the metallic gold cups!

I snagged these small ‘dairy’ bottles at Michael’s for $1 each. You could easily use any glass bottles you have on hand.

I used some small votive holders and another decorative candle holder to hold my sugars and stir sticks. I picked up plain wooden stir sticks at Michael’s and added some stick-on rhinestones from the scrapbooking section for an extra touch of sparkle. (Couldn’t help myself!)

For this display, I created all of the labels in the same color and just indicated whether the cups were Regular or Decaf, but you could create labels for all sorts of different flavor varieties or even change up the colors. The possibilities are endless! I just loved the extra detail of the custom labels, and it didn’t take much time or money to add that special touch.

I found this cute decorative glitter banner and just knew I had to include it in my happy little display!

The Keurig is so easy to use – you just pick your flavor, pop it into the machine, choose the size you’d like and press the corresponding button. Note: I removed the sticker label from the top of the K-Cup before closing the Keurig to brew my beverage.

Your hot beverage dispenses in an instant! Then add the milk and sweeteners of your choosing and enjoy!

Your guests are sure to appreciate being treated to a piping hot beverage- there’s nothing more comforting! The best part? After your reception or shower is over, you’ll love having a Keurig as a central part of your newlywed kitchen so you can enjoy single cup treats whenever you’d like!

Happy Brewing!
