Designer Gowns for Less AND for a Cause!

Amsale, Pronovias, Vera Wang, Melissa Sweet and the list of expensive wedding gown designers goes on and on. We all want a gorgeous gown for our wedding day but having your dream gown doesn’t mean you have to give up an arm and a leg. But what’s even better than having a gorgeous, affordable gown? One that also helps a great cause.

Since partnering with Wish Upon a Wedding in 2012, Brides for a Cause has raised $92,000+ to help couples facing terminal illness and serious life altering circumstances. Brides for a Cause collects and resells wedding dresses through dress sales to raise funds for charity with about 50% of the proceeds going to Wish Upon a Wedding. From the venue to the floral arrangements, Wish Upon a Wedding helps put together an entire wedding for each couple so they can focus on celebrating with their loved ones, despite hardships they may be experiencing. Since its founding, more than 55 wedding wishes have been granted.

So back to the designer gowns: at the events by Brides for a Cause gowns from designers like Vera Wang, Maggie Sottero, and Amsale can be found for up to 75% off. Starting price is $150, while the average price is about $400. Designer wedding gowns normally found for over $1,000 will also be offered starting at just $500.  Sizes will be available in 0-28. And just in case you were wondering, “discount” does not have to mean used or damaged. Each road show event is stocked with 1,000+ new and gently used wedding dresses that the organization has collected by various bridal stores and individuals around the country including Kleinfeld. It’s absolutely possible to get your dream gown at an affordable price. When I hear the word discount it’s like music to my ears. And when I hear coupon on top of a sale, I say… keep reading!

I obviously love being budget savvy and I know you all do, too – which is why I’m sharing this with you. Today, we’re not only announcing some fabulous shows coming up where you can snag a designer gown for under $500, but also a chance for 2 lucky brides to win a set of sold out VIP tickets (for yourself and a friend) to get first dibs on the gowns next weekend. So if you’re in California or can get there, listen up.
