Reader Emily sent me photos of her save-the-dates that she made to share with you all! I love seeing couples getting creative and DIYing their paper products. I thought they turned out really cute!

Here’s what Emily had to say about their save-the-dates:
We are having a very casual laid-back summer wedding on a Sunday afternoon so I wanted our Save the Dates to reflect our personalities. I basically scanned in an old caricature of us that we’ve had from a trip we took over 3 years ago. It was on my fridge forever and I got the fun idea to use it for our save-the-dates! So I scanned it into Photoshop, added color and then I printed them myself!
Cost: The caricature was about a $5 tip to the guy on the street and the paper and ink cost around $150 for around 200. The paper was already perforated and scored 2-up notecards from Avery with envelopes included!

Thanks Jessica for sharing my save the dates! It was fun to see my cartoon self and cartoon future husband on your blog today
These are absolutely charming. How smart to use a caricature artist!
