helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

So I went back to see Dena at A Special Touch yesterday to try on my dress again! After playing around with the bust fabric we decided on something a little more simple for the rouching. Here’s a pic of what it will look like!

This was the first time I’d tried on my dress with my jewelry… I know it’s a little different but I loooooooove it! :) I’m still hoping to drop ac a little more weight before the wedding… however I still haven’t actively tried to do so. I ran like twice 2 weeks ago, and that was it- haha. I’m so busy it’s hard to fit into my schedule! :( But I gotta commit to doing somethind and the most visible part is my arms! I am starting pushups galore this week!! I’m going to try to do 100 pushups every night until the wedding, and if I do- give myself some sort of prize. :) I want to have sexy arms on my wedding day. :)

And there’s my shoes! All I’m missing is my veil to complete my bridal ensemble, which I should have shortly and I cannot WAIT to share it with you!!! :)

I love it! I was originally going to wear my big, chunky turquoise beads for our wedding, but then we changed our color to pale blue. I’m so jealous!

Girlfriend, try vinyasa yoga for the arms. Sun salutations, in particular, really work the arms without giving you the bulk that pushups can. Sun salutations work the rest of the body too – especially the core – and can even be aerobic, if you do enough. I always get comments on my arms – people think that it’s because I’m a climber, but actually its from the yoga. Give it a try!

i second one barefoot bride’s comment about yoga. if you’re short on time (which sounds like you are, since the running is hard for you to find time for), go to a few classes to get to know the moves and how to do them and then do a series each morning and evening (5 – 15 mins each, depending on the day).

and above all… remember that you’re beautiful and fit today. As you are now. Anything else will be extra, but really, make sure you sleep, relax and take care of both your mind and body. eat well and it’ll all come together. :)
