helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

There’s just something so lovely about calligraphy. It seems like a luxury that most budget savvy brides couldn’t afford, but there are ways to get the calligraphy look for less! From calligraphy style fonts to products made my calligraphers, if you’re willing to do a little research or legwork you can totally steal this style. I’m sure you’ve been inspired by calligraphy wedding invitations and other wedding details you’ve seen around the web, on Pinterest, or in the pages of your favorite bridal magazine.

Personally, I am in LOVE with the calligraphy by Emilie Friday over on Etsy. Talk about loveliness!!! She can do semi custom invitations, return address stamps, monograms, etc. Getting a custom return address stamp is a great way to add a touch of calligraphy to your wedding invitations, thank you notes and more. It’s a simple and inexpensive way to give everything you send via mail a more custom feel. I totally recommend it!

If you’re feeling extra crafty or creative, you can also try your hand at calligraphy yourself! Emilie Friday offers a DIY Calligraphy starter kit that is great for any bride who wants to add a little personalization herself. The kit comes with everything you need to learn the basics of calligraphy so you can add those gorgeous, luxurious details to all your paper goods for your big day and beyond!

omg she is the love of my life. i swear. she did bits and pieces for our wedding invitations that i am just crazy about. and we have an address stamp.

best part though was getting her to design our monogram that we’re using on all our thank you cards that i’m printing at home – saves a bundle!
