helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

linksofinterest

Ya ever have one of those weeks when annoying things just seem to pop up left and right? That’s been this week for me. Unexpected expenses, dealing with insurance, taxes, car stuff- such a mess! Makes me so happy to say TGIF! It wasn’t all bad- luckily I got some inspiration and motivation earlier this week at Tory Johnson’s Spark & Hustle. Hearing other biz owners share their struggles and what they learned from them makes weeks like this more bearable. At the end of the day, I’m just happy to get to do what I love- even if there are stressful and annoying things to be dealt with from time to time! :)

In case you missed my twitter rant yesterday, I just want you ALL to know that I sincerely hope that this blog is a place of refuge that helps you feel LESS pressure when it comes to your wedding day. This blog exists to give realistic inspiration for brides to craft a beautiful wedding day without going broke. It pains me to hear of brides feeling pressure or fear of being judged by those who matter most to them because they can’t afford some unnecessary wedding item that The Knot/their mom/the wedding planner/pinterest told them they HAVE to have. There are no rules, y’all. Do what makes you happy.

And now onto some of my favorite links from this week:
