helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

Mushy Post Alert!! I just had to take a moment to say HOORAY because today is my five year wedding anniversary!!

It’s honestly hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that we’ve already been married for five years. In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago and in other ways it feels like yesterday. I’m so lucky to have E in my life and I would not be where I am or who I am today without his constant love and support. Heck, if it weren’t for him I wouldn’t even have started this blog!

Our relationship has changed my life in so many incredible ways. We have faced good times and hard times. We’ve gone on a few adventures and had more than a few “boring” nights in on the couch. We’ve fought and made up. We’ve laughed and we’ve cried. We’ve done so much and we’ve done it together. Having a partner in life is one of the biggest blessings and my husband has taught me how to love better, to be more selfless, more generous and more kind.

He loves me enough to let me watch Glee on our one and only TV – which means he also watches it by default. He puts up with my crazy hours and workaholic nature, is understanding about my social media obsession, and is always excited to cook me breakfast. Luckily he is also a good sport and he knows how much I love to document life via a camera lens – as evidenced by the plethora of selfies I have in my iPhone camera roll:

My life is better, bigger, and more full of love because of this man. If the next five years are only half as great as the first five have been, I will still be the luckiest girl in the world. <3 I Love you, E!

PS- This morning we jetted off on our first real vacation together since our honeymoon- we’ll be in the US Virgin Islands for the next week!! I even promised to leave my laptop behind and not do any work on our trip. But fear not, I’ve scheduled some great posts for you guys next week, including a recap of a recent press trip I took to Los Cabos, Mexico. Both the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf & Spa Resort, Los Cabos and The Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos are beautiful resorts and have incredible options whether you’re looking for a honeymoon location or a destination wedding spot! I’ll share with you a few of my favorite things about each venue and their amazing resources for brides on a budget! The pictures and venues are going to absolutely BLOW YOU AWAY so get excited for that. ;)

In the meantime, I hope you all have a great weekend!
