I had the pleasure of visiting the adorable boutique The White Gown in Brooklyn last week! The gals who run the store are super sweet and knowledegable about trends, styles, and what silhouettes complement your body. They have an incredible collection of gowns by some fabulous designers – not something you’d necessarily think a budget savvy bride could afford, but when they told me about their upcoming Sample Sale my ears perked up! :) If you’re in the NYC area I would HIGHLY recommend coming out for this incredible sample sale. The White Gown will have sample dresses in prices ranging from $300-$1999 – savings of up to 70% off! That’s budget savvy ;)

Check out the Featured Designers:

I checked out this new site, GetWedforLess.com -  serving bargainista, savvy brides!  Get Wed for Less features top online and local vendors who have stellar public images and the most affordable, quality offerings. They currently cover the local markets of NYC (all five boroughs), Long Island, Westchester County/Hudson Valley, Northern/Central Jersey, DC & its suburbs, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and some of South Florida and Atlanta.  One of the biggest perks?  It saves planning couples tons of time by sharing realistic pricing coming directly from the vendors. As they grow they will steadily be rolling out more premium content and features, vendor images, wedding websites, and more major wedding markets over the next few weeks. If you’re in one of the above areas, I recommend checking it out to see if it is of help to you!
