helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

linksofinterest

Ahhhh, Friday is finally here. Can I get an AMEN? :) Although I absolutely LOVE what I do I couldn’t be more ready for a couple days off. I’ve been working on my WEDtalk (How To Have a Beautiful Wedding that Doesn’t Break the Bank) for the upcoming Bridal Rebellion event in NYC next weekend – there’s still time to register – click here for tickets. Another thing consuming my time this week is writing a BOOK PROPOSAL!!! (Yes, you read that right.) I’ve been requested by a publisher to submit a proposal for a budget weddings book — how exciting is that? I have to say it is overwhelming and HUGE and daunting but I’m pushing through the fear and doing it anyway. :)

In other news, I want to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to submit feedback through our Reader Survey. I appreciate the thought and effort behind the feedback and I’m excited to take some of your suggestions and put them into action. Specifically lots of organizing and cleaning up our previous blog posts to make them more searchable and easier to navigate. (I’ll be looking for some part time help with this so if you’d like to make some extra moolah to put towards your wedding expenses shoot me an email.) The survey will stay open for another week or so but please fill out the survey by Monday April 8th if you want to be entered to win one of the two fabulous books I posted about this week! Of course you can also just sign up for our upcoming newsletter series if you want as well.

I was also contacted by a sweet gal (and future budget savvy bride to-be) who is doing a research project about wedding photography for her college coursework. I would love if you could help her out by doing her survey as well. Let’s be honest – who doesn’t want a fun activity to kill a few minutes on a Friday afternoon, amiright? You can take the survey at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FZF2PG2

And without further ado, it’s time for my favorite links of the week:
