Whoo-whooooot…it’s Black Friday!!  I don’t know about you, but I certainly plan to do my part to stimulate the economy.

As Dana mentioned, Black Friday is the perfect time for brides to do a little shopping. I’ve got tons of DIY projects to prepare for and items to purchase that are often forgotten or thought about later in the planning process.

My list includes:
• Petticoat
• Veil
• Shoes
• Jewelry
• Invitation Supplies (i.e. adhesive, bone folder)
• Candles (…lots of them)
• Vases (a few large ones that make a statement)
• Cake Cutter Set
• Easel (for signage)
• Tabletop Number Holders
• Broom Materials
• Card Box (or card box materials)

If I don’t find what I need today—no sweat! There is always Cyber-Monday.  I can’t wait to tell you about my finds. Don’t miss Jessica’s post from earlier today about the best Black Friday Wedding Deals!

Happy shopping my friends!

I’m Bianca, a Washingtonian transplant from Chicago’s Southside. During the day, I work for the people; after hours, I moonlight as an artist and avid DIYer. On May 10, 2014, I’ll wed my love of 4 years in Atlanta, GA and add a few letters to my list of achievements…M – R – S.

  1. I waited until Cyber Monday to do some shopping. I bought the rest of my bridesmaids’ gifts and…personalized napkins. Hey, they were on sale! Where did you get your candles? I’m currently perusing for prices, and I’m waiting for them to go on sale at Hobby Lobby. Were you able to purchase everything on your list?
