I’m sorry to hear that, too. I was laid off my from job (with several weeks notice), so my last day is 12/31. Happy freakin’ holidays, huh? Keep your head up and know that openings will start popping up come January.

Oh man, that sucks. Well, luckily your profession does lend itself to freelance work, and graphic design is definitely not something that just anyone can do! Best of luck!

oh no. i am so sorry to hear that.
i became a statistic too 3 weeks ago and last week did a blog post on it. my situation is slightly different than yours in that i….am not so sad that it happened – it was time for me to move on and i’m only looking at the positives. i’d like for you to try and see it that way too. it may be hard at first but you are truly talented and this could open up other opportunities for you that you didn’t even know existed – that you had maybe only considered in your deepest thoughts…no you can give them a try. you are an incredible graphic designer…maybe that’s something you can do freelance? i know your wedding is coming up so the financial situation for that will be tighter but you are so creative i’m sure everything will work out.

my thoughts are with you that you don’t stress too much. take a week or so and do nothing – wallow in it if you want. then pull your socks up and be your creative self!

I will keep you in my thoughts. I am sure everything that will work out for you. Everything happens for a reason. It just means that something great is on the horizon for you.
