It was a hard lesson to learn, I will admit, but it made it even clearer why I picked the girls I did.

Isn't it weird how people get about not being a part of bridal parties? I am still stressing out about some of my friends' reactions, but it's encouraging to know that pretty much every bride deals with it to some extent!

I had a similar situation with one of my friends – she told one of my bridesmaids that she was upset that she hadn't been chosen and felt like I should say apologize. I did not feel the same way and just explained that we had chosen who we had chosen for a reason, but that didn't change how much I valued our friendship.

And then we had the situation of 3 of my 6 maids being pregnant (what are the chances?!) and one of those 3 won't be able to be at the wedding b/c she is due the week of the wedding. Lots of people were telling me to pick someone else, to add in that other girl, etc, but I decided to just leave it uneven. I chose those girls for a reason, and I didn't want to add in a girl later. Especially since it was like 5 months in and the other girls had already bonded and spent time together.

So now, we have uneven bridal parties, but who cares?! :)
