If you remember, I posted earlier about possible color scheme ideas. I still absolutely love this color combo of red & aqua, but I feel like it probably wouldn’t work so well with the venue we’ve chosen. I’m thinking it might look a little too modern with my historic, rustic backdrop. But- for any brides out there who LOVE this color combo like I do, I think you’ll appreciate this post by Boutwell Studio on a wedding that executed the color scheme beautifully! Wedding styling by Joyful Weddings & Events. Check out their blog for more coverage on this wedding this week!
Run, don’t walk, over to the Boutwell Studio blog, Afternoon Delight! (love that!) to see more from this fabulous wedding!

There’s also this wedding created by Married & More with Michelle, that uses the rich colors. There’s a little more green thrown in here and there and I am diggin’ it!

So… any ideas for your new colour scheme yet?
Thanks for posting Jen & Michael’s wedding! We had so much fun with the color scheme- so unique and cheery. We’ll be posting more about this wedding on our blog later this week.
These colors are so great together. I am using aqua and brown. This makes me want to throw alittle red in the mix.
I love, love, love this color combination! The boy wasn’t too keen on it though.

@ Guilty- I have been working on that (the color scheme) for a while now… I’m so indecisive. I will have some new inspiration boards next week of a couple of new options I’m toying with!!
Oh my goodness. I absolutely love the red boxes with aqua ribbon in the first picture. Can someone please tell me where I can find these? I am having a Tiffany/Aqua & Red wedding in March 2011.
Thanks!
