I would pretty much give BOTH of my baby toes to wear one of these pieces of vintage-inspired amazingness on my wedding day. I hear you all saying ‘pinky toes? big deal…’ but they are an integral part of your balance and ability to stand up without falling over thankyouverymuch. At least I think so… at least 10 sites I found on Google said so, so it must be right! ha… Either way, what I’m trying to say here is Stephanie James is a phenomenal designer and her wedding dresses are fantastic.

Jessica is the creator of The Budget Savvy Bride; she launched the site in May of 2008, shortly after becoming engaged. Jessica has been recognized as a budget wedding expert by various media outlets and continues to share realistic inspiration and actionable tips to help brides save money on their weddings. Google

  1. I know, so beautiful, right?… I had checked out her website a few months ago and she said the average price of a dress is $1400… Which is also way out of my budget, but when you think of it, is actually not THAT expensive to have a beautiful, completely unique, custom-made gown made right here in North America…

Ok, they may not be super budget, BUT! Some of her dresses are not so SO expensive. I’ve been to her showroom and tried on her stuff, and had a long chat with her (she, by the way, is just great). I thought everything was going to be staggeringly expensive and I would just be trying them on for ideas, but the dress I loved was $1100. Not cheap, but but I’d just finished trying on a David’s Bridal dress that was about that much, and total crap. And she makes each one by hand and modifies them within reason. So… that is the gossip on that. It might or might not be within shooting range, but it’s probably better then you thought. (and yes, some of them are $3300. Unlike most of the $3300 dresses I’ve seen, they are worth it, even if un-affordable for me)

  2. Those dresses really are gorgeous. I love seeing them all together! I think the best part about them is that they look fun to wear. I definitely don’t want to feel weighed down by my wedding dress on my big day – I’d rather have a twirly, girly dress like those. Sigh indeed.

  3. Hey! I love following your blog…and when I saw this post I thought of this place and I thought I would send it your way:
