We decided to do a first look for many reasons. Mainly because we didn’t want to miss a huge chunk of our reception. We knew that taking pictures beforehand would help us not to feel rushed because we had people waiting on us. It also gave us actual time to be alone- except for the photographers of course, but they were so quiet and stayed far back so I didn’t really notice they were there. I had hoped that E would cry when we saw each other but no tears came, for either of us. At this point it still didn’t feel real- and I was really feeling kind of numb- like I was on cruise control the whole day. They had me sneak up behind him and tap him on the shoulder so he could turn around and see me…
I was rocking the flip flops for most of the portraits because the grass was SO wet from it raining all day… we were so lucky that the weather cooperated for these portraits though- thank GOD!
here I come!
checking out his suit- it was the first time i’d seen it on him
I have no idea what i was saying to him here…
He complimented me on my flower and veil– he refused to see it before the wedding, but he said he really liked it!!
I told him i wanted a better look at him and to do a spin. I look so bossy… LOL
We’re getting married!!!
More pics from the first look and our portraits next week!
