Our Wedding : The Lovely Maids | The Budget Savvy Bride
The Budget Savvy Bride

We shot these bridesmaids photos FAST because E was on his way over to the Sam Davis Home and I had to run and go hide. With the craziness of the day we never ended up taking any more, but I have to say that I love them so I don’t really have any complaints. :) The Sam Davis Home had so many cool locations for taking photos – (something that was on my mind from the get-go!)

this old barn made a perfect backdrop.

they were trying to be sassy. :-P

I love all the colors!

I love the laughing pic- so cute!

I made sure to have Chris and Adrienne take individual pics of all the bridesmaids and groomsmen… for my album designing purposes. :)

Bridesmaid, H- friend since high school and college roommate!

Bridesmaid B- known since middle school (currently honeymooning in Cabo!)

Bridesmaid & sister, K. We go way back. :-P

Bridesmaid & Sister, A. We also go way back.

Bridesmaid A- college friend and Pi Beta Phi sister!

MOH, S- known since middle school- she’s my bff!

Every time I look at our photos I just love them even more! :)

  1. So pretty! I love the colors of the dresses.

  2. The dresses all turned out great! PS, I just added to my shot-list individual pictures of each of the girls (and guys)… thanks for pointing those out, as I definitely want these for my album too!! It helps when brides not only show the pics, but also the thought process that went into getting them… it helps us go through that same process too!!
It looks like you all had a great time!

  3. Love the different shades on the dresses. Your colors are pretty close to ones I have in mind, but who knows, I keep changing my mind! Love the blog and congrats on tying the knot!

I know you must have answered this somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it. Where did you get the BM dresses? I love the idea of multiple colors and styles, but I’d want to make sure they all have the same fabric and length. Congratulations, and thanks for being a budget bride inspiration!

I got the dresses specially made by the woman who made my wedding dress. Her name is Dena and her shop is called A Special Touch- it’s in Murfreesboro, TN

  9. Love to use your photos on an upcoming feature I’m doing on, Monochromatic Dressing For Bridesmaids. Lovely examples here of one range of color and a varation of necklines and silhouettes complimentry to each woman’s shape. Just stunning . . .
