helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

One thing about weddings that I still am obsessed with is rings. Yes, I still like to play around with sites where you can ‘create your own’ ring design. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my ring. But it’s still fun to play! :) My engagement ring came with a matching band when my hubby picked it out but I always thought it would’ve been fun to get to choose my wedding band or pick it out together. I’ve always loved the idea of an eternity band (eternity means the diamonds go alllllllll the way around) and I still dream about having an eternity band for my right hand someday. :)

I recently came across the site Since1910.com that allows you to create your own diamond eternity ring by choosing the diamond shape, size, color, clarity, metal type, setting and finger size. The builder allows you to build custom eternity rings and they even have a ‘try before you buy’ option where they will send you a replica of the ring prior to purchase so you can know exactly what you’re getting before they make it! It’s pretty cool! Their design-it-yourself system is the first of its kind in the industry. The pricing is all based on the number of actual stones needed to make your ring- so a ring with a larger size will need more stones and will therefore cost more, unlike some of the chain stores where you pay the same price regardless of size, so it could definitely save you money to try it out!

The try before you buy system works like this: they make the replicas out of white gold with cz’s, rather than diamonds, and they authorize your credit card for just $750 as a safety deposit. Once the ring is returned to them (they provide a pre-paid return label) they simply reverse the temporary charge with no charge to the customer.

Be sure to check out Since1910.com for more designer engagement rings from incredible designers like Tacori. Happy ring designing! :)
