So a reader and friend twittered me yesterday asking for ideas for cheap Thank You cards. She said that she really liked cards with photos of the couple from their wedding day on them but that many you see online are pretty expensive. I suggested adding a 4×6 photo to a plain A7 (5×7) folded card. You could do a color from your wedding or just plain white. I like this idea because then it gives all your guests a photo that they can keep as a memento of your special day.

start with a plain 5×7 (A7) folded card- you can find these at Paper-Source.com in a variety of colors.
Print 4×6′s of a photo that you love from your wedding… you can get super cheap prints at Walgreens or on Shutterfly. I printed this photo on my home printer! I used my handy Scotch tape roller to roll some stickiness onto the photo.

Then I stuck the photo to the front of the card. Didn’t have a 4×6 around of me & E around so I just used this one I had printed of me and my maids to show how I did it.
Write your note inside and you’re done!
Quick and easy, and your guests will love getting a free photo of you from your wedding! You have no idea how much people enjoy something so simple! Of course you could print a fancy design on the cards before attaching the photo and writing your notes- add your monogram to the back, etc- to make it your own. I hope this inspires some of you to get creative on a budget!

Great idea! I bought cheap cards thinking that I wouldn’t have the time or the budget to create “unique” ones, but this is both budget friendly and creative. Thanks!
I’m making mine like this too. I’m taking a special Thank You picture at the wedding and then planning on sticking them onto cards. So easy but your guests definitely appreciate it.
I am doing the same idea, but I also used cute little photo corners (I got 250 for about $4). Love it!
love this idea!! i’m gonna put it to work.
I like this idea!! Very easy to do and not too much time is taken up with this project!
What a great idea – plus it is totally doable for someone in the shallow end of the crafty talent pool like myself.
cool..like this idea!
I’m totally digging this idea. May I steal it please?
Wow, I love this idea! I’ll be linking to this post if you don’t mind.
We did this exact same thing, except we used photo corners from Michael's so that people could remove the photo from the card if they wanted to hang it on the fridge or something.
