helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

I am going to be meeting at the Sam Davis Home on Saturday with my Day-Of-Coordinator, Tara of Lavish Events. I am so excited to start thinking about what our reception will look like and how we’re going to make it all work! I’ve been collecting images that inspire me over the last 6 months so I pulled them out to share with you today. I’ll be honest, I didn’t keep record of where all these came from over all this time so please forgive me for not linking. I will add a link or credit if you know where any of these came from! :) Anywho- take a gander at all this receptiony goodness! :)

It’s going to be dark by the time the reception starts- I’d love to see alot of candles creating a warm glow over the reception area. So romantic!

I love the idea of using burlap for tablecloths or runners- it just feel very rustic, but also kind of clean and simple at the same time.

Mason jars are a must… already trying to collect them…

I love the luminaries along the pathways and in the treas. So surreal and dreamy!

Cute idea for escort cards- although I will not be doing a seating chart…

I love the look of this chic beverage station. Looks delicious!

Burlap curtains to frame off the area? So whimsical!

Chandeliers in the trees give a shabby chic feel

The candy buffet is a go. E would cry if I couldn’t make it happen.

Cute menu displays- for next to our buffet?

More lovely lanterns

I love these champagne flutes

Cute arrangement of silver frames- perhaps for engagement photos or photos of our families weddings?

I LOVE the ribbons hanging from the paper lanterns. So playful!

I love these galvanized tins for favors. And the B monogram is too cute!

The first image is gorgeous! All those candles…I am on a budget as well and simple candles can really make a statement without costing much if done right. I think your reception is going to turn out beautifully – such pretty inspiration pics!

The table runner picture is gorgeous! Actually they all are! You’re wedding will be beautiful! And those champagne glasses! I have never seen such a modern, fun font used before! Very cool!

I love the look of candles, super romantic. That is what we are doing for our reception. We are alternating tables with flower and candle centerpieces, Definitely will save on the centerpieces doing a mix and it will be beautiful at night!

Nicely Done! Have you moved away from your brunch idea though?

I just got so excited about the photos of your reception… if you can pull off something that looks HALF this amazing, it’s going to be incredible!

    Can’t wait!
    chris.

I love the juice containers. Do you remember what website that you go that picture from?

  • budgetsavvybride

@Shamika- yes, unfortunately our venue is open tot he public during the day since it’s a historical site, so we aren’t able to do the wedding during the day there. I was so sad about it, but I know it will still be wonderful.

    @Dana- I sure don’t… I’m sorry! :( I’m a bad blogger!

  • Becky

So, I know you don’t remember where you got the juice picture, but how about the curtains? We have a major eyesore (a mall!) to try to camaflouge (sp?) and I think those would work nicely!

I love everything! What exactly are hanging from the trees, not the lanterns? Also I have found decanters but I love yours. Where did you get them?
