One of my favorite tips for saving money on your wedding is to nix the open bar and opt to serve wine, beer, and a signature cocktail (or two) instead! Signature cocktails can add an extra dose of personalization to your day, because both you and your fiancé can choose your favorite drinks to be served and shared with all of your guests. Plus, who doesn't like trying a new, tasty cocktail?
As I mentioned last month, I've been having a little fun at home mixing up some tasty and simple drink recipes, and I decided it would be fun to share some of them with all of you! I'll be sharing these yummy cocktail recipes here on the blog as a series I'm dubbing “Savvy Signature Sips.” So fun, right?
Lately I've been loving Prosecco. It's crisp and sweet, and who doesn't love refreshing bubbles? I decided to mix up a simple Lemon Raspberry Prosecco cocktail. This recipe is so simple that you can mix it up in 5 minutes!
The newest cocktail in my Savvy Signature Sips series is a cocktail that features some of Zonin1821's new Dress Code collection of Proseccos!
Zonin1821’s limited edition ‘Dress Code’ Prosecco Collection comes in three varieties – Grey, White and Black. Each Prosecco features a different blend of grapes to create unique tasting profiles and styles. So whether your dream wedding is glam or more of a DIY affair, one of these three varieties will match the mood and theme. The best part is, they’ve recently launched in the US and retail for $16.99 a bottle, so you’ll be a trendsetter without breaking the bank!
Kick back and relax or dance the night away with this refreshing, bubbly, lemony cocktail!
Lemon Raspberry Prosecco Cocktail
- 3 cups prosecco, chilled
- 1 cup limoncello liqueur, chilled
- 1 cup raspberries
yields 6 servings
- In a large pitcher, whisk together prosecco and limoncello.
- Place a few fresh raspberries in your glass and top with the mixture.
- Optional: freeze your raspberries for a bit first so they stay colder in your drink!
For this cocktail, I decided to use the WHITE edition of ZONIN, but you could play around with the other varieties to see what you like best.
This cocktail is seriously refreshing, and just sweet enough. Use different fruit in your cocktail for a flavorful twist! You could try blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, blackberries… the options are endless!
I think this drink would make a great signature cocktail for your big day, don't you?
I especially loved mixing up and serving this cocktail in these adorbs Yay! Champagne Flutes by Easy Tiger from BHLDN. How cute are they? Add them to your registry or snatch them up for a sweet and chic hostess gift! There are also a couple of other designs that are super adorable!
