I hope you end up wih the wedding of your dreams and good luck with all of your planning!

Most of their weddings are in the 8-13k range budget wise, which I know is still alot for many brides. But we feature weddings here all the time that are less than $10k, some even as low as $2k. You can view weddings by budget here.

I’m just disappointed, because I was so excited to find a blog like this to help counter the wedding excess that seems to be everywhere, but now I find that even the “budget” weddings are way more than anything I could ever spend.

I was uneasy about spending that much, but at the time I had made it work into our budget. When I found me dream dress for 1/4 of the price I couldn’t have been happier and it allowed for a little more leeway in our guest list.

You’ll also notice that I’m saving a TON of money on my veil and alterations. Everyone has different priorities. One of mine was having the dress of my dreams. :)

Some people splurge on food or flowers, others on their dress. That doesn’t make them any less budget savvy! :)

That is awesome that it was on sale (money saved) AND it only needs to be hemmed (money saved again)!! I wish my parents had a ceremony so that I could do something like wear my mom’s veil, but they got hitched in the courthouse!

How do you qualify as a budget savvy bride? A lot of people have to do their whole wedding on that amount!
