You’ve probably heard me say it before — wedding favors aren’t a necessity. But if your heart is set on sharing a token of your appreciation with the folks who join you on your big day, I always suggest giving something edible. Tchotchkes and tokens with your monogram on it will end up in the garbage pail, so give your guests something sweet to snack on and they’ll be extra happy (and so will your wallet!)
Edible wedding favors are delightful and generally affordable. One of my favorites? My M&M’S personalized candies! You can select up to three colors and have your M&M’S printed with custom text, clip art, or even your own photos for an extra personal touch!
I absolutely love finding creative ideas for wedding favors, and what’s better than custom printed M&M’S for wedding favors that are as unique as your love! The candies from My M&M’S are perfect for DIY projects and candy buffets alike, as they are sold in bulk quantities such as 5lb bags. You could also choose packaging options on the website, such as single serving M&M’S favor packs!
For this favor idea, I wanted to share a cute and simple packaging option that you can customize yourself! I’ve created three different printable favor tags for you to choose from — and you can even customize them yourself using Microsoft Word! I am super thrilled with how these turned out and they were incredibly simple to make.
Super Simple Wedding Favors
- My M&M’S custom printed candies
- Circle boxes (3.5 x .75 in circles)
- Clear Tape
- Avery 22807 labels
- Downloadable templates (get them at the bottom of this post)
- Ribbon (optional)
Peel your labels from the sheet and adhere them to the front of your circle boxes. Just use the gold ring as a guide and eyeball it until your labels are centered.
Repeat until all of your boxes have labels on them! Once you’ve got all your labels adhered, you can start filling your boxes. Use the provided scoop from My M&M’S to portion your candies into your boxes, filling appropriately. Repeat until all boxes are filled. One 5lb bag filled about 25 of these boxes, so if you’re looking to stay super budget-savvy, you may want to consider a smaller box or package for your favors to make your candy stretch farther.
Once your boxes are filled, you can secure them with either tape or a ribbon to keep them from opening up or spilling.
And voila! Adorably packaged, super simple wedding favors! I love how fun and graphic these look in the boxes, and this green, black and white color scheme is super preppy-chic!
Just look at how cute these favors will look when you display them for your wedding:
