helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

Time for some more story time from my weekend at The B-List! Our weekend started out with a Meet & Greet Party at the Torpedo Factory in Old Town, Alexandria. The space was incredible- with high ceilings and a really urban feel. The fabulous ladies of Ritzy Bee Events planned this whole shindig and it was amazing! There were amazing pieces of decor, the most interesting were these wedding dresses that were suspended in the middle of the space! So unique and perfect for this event! The rentals were provided by DC Rentals, the gorgeous florals were done by Holly Chapple Flowers and the lighting was done by John Farr Lighting Design. It's pretty awesome how much lighting can change the look of a venue- the effect was stunning!

Oh, and the FOOD! Wow- there were so many amazing flavors at this party. The team at Design Cuisine created a unique dish for each and every blogger which made me feel super special! 🙂 The dish for The Budget Savvy Bride was a fritter with zuccini and carrots- it was delish! Each item was displayed so beautifully- just check out this presentation! You can often get more for your money with a passed appetizer reception- and it creates a really cool cocktail party vibe.

There were other cool areas with different wedding themes, complete with table settings and even a prosecco bar. The Dandy, The Rebel, The Naturalist, & The Purist. All so unique and beautiful- check out those gorgeous florals by Holly Chapple Flowers.

And of course the party was a fab chance to gab with 200 DC vendors and all the members of The B List. It was a fabulous evening- I had so much fun chatting with everyone! Unfortuntaely, I never made it into the Smilebooth– but all the pics were adorable!
