How did you meet?

Brady & I met in high school when we were just 17 years old. We went through ups & downs but we always came back to each other. We are best friends and could not go through life without each other!

What is your proposal story?

It was the day before Brady’s birthday & we were going out to our favorite restaurant to celebrate. After dinner, we head down to meet his friend for a drink. When we got there, it was empty. The only thing there was a path of lanterns & flowers leading to a lot of pictures of us with more flowers. Brady got down on one knee & of course I said yes!! After this, we went to a family members house & all of our family & friends were there to surprise me. It was the BEST!!!

Tell us about your wedding vision.

Our wedding was on NYE, so our colors were burgundy, blush, & navy. I wanted it to be vintage & a little rustic. Each center piece on the tables were different. Some had vintage lanterns, some had flower vases & some had both. We had lots of candles, lanterns & FLOWERS! The venue was beautiful, the beautiful crystal chandeliers were the best part. And I got to walk down the stairs to the center aisle as my grand entrance. It was unforgettable.

Tell us about your attire choices.

My dress was extremely unique & I was obsessed with the detail on it. The bridesmaids dresses were burgundy & blush. And the guys wore navy. Brady has a floral tie and the groomsman had a burgundy tie.

What was most important to you two? Was there anything you chose to splurge on or skip?

The most important thing was making our dreams come true. We chose to splurge on the most important things, such as my dress & our photographer. We skipped spending lots of money on decorations & instead found a lot of things we could borrow and didn’t have to pay for!

What were your favorite parts of the day?

My favorite memories were my first looks with my dad & with Brady. I will never forget those moments. They both sobbed. It was 2 of the best moments of my life & I truly felt so beautiful & so loved. I will also never forget walking down the aisle. All of our guests were standing staring at me, but all I could see was Brady. I would relive every part of this day over & over again.

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

My flowers were INCREDIBLE. I was obsessed. we ordered them from Blooms by the Box & my mom made all of the bouquets by herself. That will always be so special, knowing my mom handmade my wedding bouquet.

Did you include any family heirlooms or special traditions?

Before my grandfather passed away, he gave my mom 2 crystal ballerinas. For for me & one for my sister. When my mom made my wedding bouquet, she pinned the crystal on the ribbon in the front. So even though my grandpa couldn’t be there, in a way, he was. It was so special.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Relax, don’t stress. Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks, all that matters is what you & your groom want! And if things go wrong or not how you planned it, it’s okay! You are still going to be married & it will still be the best day of your life!
