helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

Today I have a special treat for you in the form of a bridal shower inspiration shoot by some talented vendors. Events by Milk and Honey Farm is a rentals and styling company that rents items for your wedding or other special event. Jennifer created this lovely setup that would work perfectly for a bridal shower, a brunch for you and your bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding, a day after brunch for your out of town family, or even an intimate reception!  The photographer, Phillip Van Nostrand captured the setup beautifully– in fact, it's making me want a muffin and a mimosa, stat! Brunch is my absolute favorite meal so this is no surprise…

By working with a company where you can rent items for your wedding, you can save money instead of buying all the items that you would need! If you don't have time to scour your local thrift stores, you can actually rent items like the mismatched china plates and teacups to add a little vintage eclectic flair to your event. Items like the big beverage dispensers that you might not use as often could be better priced to rent rather than purchase yourself, as well.

Simple food like scones, muffins, pastries and fruit, served alongside juice in glass pitchers and beverage dispensers would be an affordable option for your occasion. You could add in an egg dish or breakfast casserole for something with a little protein that doesn't have to cost you much. In general I'm a huge fan of the brunch wedding concept because it's affordable, chic, and there are so many delicious breakfast foods to serve!

I am in love with this inspiration post! It is exactly my style, and I just happen to have the turquoise/robin’s egg Fiesta pitcher, the colander, and the little berry baskets. That color is affectionately referred to at my house as Shannon’s blue. Great post, and fabulous styling/photography!

    • That blue is one of my faves as well! 🙂 I adore those berry baskets!!
