Oak leaves are a symbol of wisdom, strength, and endurance. This wonderfully detailed oak leaf pin, is a large size pin that is lightweight, yet durable, made of solid (not plated) raw brass with a push back enclosure. I added a patina to enhance the antique feel and highlight the texture.

Keeping your jewelry in an airtight container is best, as the air and humidity can speed up tarnish. Wearing your pieces as much as possible will help keep them tarnish free as your skins natural oils help protect the metals from tarnishing. Polishing occasionally by rubbing or with a sterling silver polish will help remove any dullness or tarnish.
