Last week I stumbled upon a wedding planning ideas website from none other than The Dollar Tree!

I thought it was pretty nifty and packed full of great ideas so I have to share! Not only does the site have all sorts of different how-to’s but also check lists of what supplies you need and links where you can direct order larger quantities of their items! So, even if you don’t have a Dollar Tree close by or if your local store doesn’t carry everything, you can still order online!

As far as shipping, prices seemed reasonable and vary depending on your location.  You can either opt for in-store pickup or UPS delivery.

I was surprised and impressed that they had everything from catering ideas (yes, catering!) to candy buffets and cocktail recipes, to color scheme samples and floral decor.

These DIY arrangements look like they came straight from a florist!

The site also has templates available for DIY  personalized wedding favors such as water bottles, lip balm, and playing cards

Another site, The Krazy Coupon Lady also does weekly Dollar Tree coupon match ups. I am serious, the Dollar Tree takes manufacturers coupons! (Think about this one for a minute- most coupons are for $1.00 off an item which means only one thing- yes, it’s free!). On the Krazy Lady’s site she lays out where to find a specific coupon (either with links to online print at home sites, or which newspaper insert to use).  You can always score some extra hotel bag favors for out of town guests this way.

As my wedding date gets closer, I’ll have an update of what Dollar Tree ideas and finds I’ve come up with.  So far, I’ve got some candy bar ideas brewing!
