How did you meet?

We met when we were both working at Molly’s pizza as a second job in 2010. I asked Brandon to hang out one day after work and the rest is history.

What is your proposal story?

We took a stay-cation for a week in 2016, each day we did something different. On this particular day, we went to play mini-golf. Brandon was in a hurry to get back home claiming that his mom was stopping over. When we pulled up to our house after mini-golf, the walkway was lined with paper lanterns, there were balloons everywhere, and at the end, a sign that said marry me? When I turned around to Brandon, he was already on one knee holding out the ring. It was dark outside but his mom and a good friend of mine were on the neighbor’s porch watching it all happen (they decorated for Brandon). It was beautiful and completely unexpected!

Tell us about your attire choices.

We got engaged in August, so I wanted to do a fall engagement session. I take advice from Pinterest as if it’s my mom, so, I started searching for ideas there and just kinda went with it.

What were your favorite parts of the day?

My favorite part of that day was that it was strictly about us, about our engagement, capturing it to show our excitement with everyone that we love.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Keep it about the two of you. Don’t worry about impressing so and so or making sure grandma’s third cousin is invited. It is YOUR wedding, remember that.
