What was your design inspiration?

The inspiration was focused on showcasing the dresses and the venue. We did not bring in any extra elements besides the apparel, and floral bouquets in order to keep everything very minimal. For their hair and makeup, we maintained a natural bridal look, showcasing the beauty and elegance of the bride and bridal party.

Venue- Prices start at $2400 if you’re open to a weekday (Monday through Thursday) wedding, and start at $2600 to $5000 for weekend use depending on the day of the weekend and month. These rates grant you access to the entire estates (indoor and outdoor). The Venue’s beauty alone allows for a bride to spend minimal amounts on decor, and the venue includes tables and chairs in their amenities, along with complimentary tent covering on the back patio.

Bridal Wear: Wedding Dress $35, Headpiece $15, Shoes $123
Bridesmaid Dresses: $116-$129
Mother of the Bride Dress (Also considered a Bridesmaid’s Dress at AW Bridal): $89.99

Petal Driven Bulk Order: $133 (50 Silver Dollar Tulips $45, 20 stems Senecio Full Moon $63, 25 Amaranthus Yearning in Dessert Cream $25)
Trader Joes: Spray Roses 2 Bundles $6.99 each, 2 Bundles of Roses $6.99 each, 2 Bundles of Carnations $4.99 each, 1 Bundle of Myrtle $7
Floral Total:$163.96 and yielded 3 Bridesmaid Bouquets and one wedding bouquet

Describe your flowers

For floral, I used creams, greens, and a touch of yellow. Tulips were the main floral; roses, spray roses, and carnations being added for bulk. For greens, I mixed some Senecio Full Moon from the dusty miller family with green Myrtle. Cream colored Amaranthus was added to each to add additional texture.

Floral can add up very quickly, but to save on cost I used Petal Driven (an online wholesaler that sells to the public) to purchase the bulk items I needed to create the bouquets. For the Spray Roses, Roses, and Carnations I visited my local Trader Joes. For a Bride on a budget that is not set on a specific type of flower, local grocers, like Trader Joes, can be a great option for finding floral at amazing prices. With a bundle of roses being only $6.99, you truly can’t go wrong.

The ribbon used on the bouquets was cream chiffon purchased at Hobby Lobby for approx. $3.99 per roll (2 rolls used).

Tell us about your attire choices

The bridesmaids’ dresses were gray and champagne, with flowing material that added a romantic quality. Each dress was a different design, matching only in color. The trend of similar, but not the same dresses is one we are fans of, allowing each lady to express her own formal style. The Mother of the Bride’s dress is actually one of AW Bridal’s Bridesmaid’s dresses, but we wanted to showcase how versatile the dresses are. For the Bridal gown, I envisioned a dress that was A-line, with very classic, timeless detail. The dress was paired with the whimsical, but elegant crystal headpiece by AW Bridal, and outfit completed with Badgley Mischka heels.

AW Bridal gowns are great prices and yield great quality. Whether the Bridesmaids are paying for their own gowns, or the bride assisting, the price tag of the gowns will wow. Prices range from $50 to $150

AW Bridal also makes beautiful headpieces, comparable in look and style to pieces I have seen in the marketplace for much higher prices. The headpiece costing only $15.

AW Bridal offers so many options for the Bride, from wedding dresses to veils, tiaras, and headpieces, Bridesmaid dresses, and Mother of the Bride dresses. For any Bride that is on a budget, but doesn’t want to sacrifice on quality, AW Bridal is a must to consider.

The wedding dress by Allure Bridal was a sample gown, purchased from a local consignment store for $35 and the ultimate proof that second hand can pay off big time in regards to your wedding day. Doing so can allow for a little more to be spent in other areas that further compliment the dress, like the shoes. We paired a pair of Badgley Mischka’s from Amazon with this dress.

We brought in an actual mother and daughter to model for our “Mother of the Bride/Bride” photographs.
