What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?

We created the decor ourselves which made it more personal.

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

The biggest thing I did to save money was go with a primitive look where everything was from a thrift store, borrowed, or from yard sales and the natural look of the barn.

What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?

Do what feels best to you as a couple.

What was your biggest splurge?

My biggest splurge was the flowers and the photography.

What was your favorite detail?

I didn’t have just one one favorite detail. I loved it all. It was very old timely and primitive just like I pictured it
