Hometown Themed Airbnb Micro Wedding in Austin

The Budget Savvy Bride

After having to pivot their plans for a destination elopement in Italy, Noelle and Adrian got creative and planned a weekend Airbnb getaway in Austin to celebrate with 10 of their closest friends and family.

We love how they incorporated details from their hometowns to represent their past as they began their new life together in a new city!

What creative or personal aspects did you use in your wedding?

We really wanted our wedding to be meaningful and intimate. We were supposed to elope in Italy in 2020, but we all know what happened there. We decided to invite our 10 closest family and friends to celebrate in Austin instead. We didn’t want a typical wedding, so instead, we decided to get an Airbnb on the local Lake Travis to house all of our guests for a long weekend.

What is the most memorable moment of your day?

The most memorable moment of the day was our first kiss as husband and wife. It was so special to be surrounded by family and friends. The sincerity and love were palpable.

The biggest thing we did to save money was to hire Simply Eloped and keep our wedding small and intimate. We did not have to worry about feeding 100+ people.

Our videographer was our biggest splurge! We are so excited to see the final product!
