Coronado Beach Elopement in San Diego

The Budget Savvy Bride

Bobbyjo and Chase didn't intend to elope when they first started wedding planning.

They actually had a large wedding with 250 people in mind, but as the time got closer they felt the wedding was becoming more about everyone around them, so eloping was the best way for them to make it about themselves!

What creative or personal aspects did you use in your wedding?

We eloped on Coronado Beach but we made sure that even though we had a few people there we had a special moment to honor our whole family. I carried My fiancé’s Great Grand Mother’s embroidered Hanky and he carried his grandfather in the form of a bracelet with ashes in it.

What is the most memorable moment of your day?

After the ceremony and the photos, My husband and I walked to the shoreline and took in the moment for the first time as husband and wife.

Eloped. We kept our whole budget to $6000.

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

My dress!
