Melissa + Joshua Elegant Historic Mansion Wedding with Saving Tips

What creative or personal aspects did you use in your wedding?

We had our wedding rings set up on a table with a sign for our guests to say a blessing or prayer over them on their way to their seats.

Did you do any DIY projects or create any handmade items for your wedding?

Josh designed, machined, and built a beautiful custom champagne tower for the reception! He had our names, our children’s names, and our wedding date included into the top of the tower.

We were lucky to utilize our very talented family members for several parts of the wedding. Josh’s stepmom, Susie, is a master seamstress and musician.

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

Our biggest splurge was hosting our children and out-of-state wedding party for the entire weekend.
