 + Wedding Planning: Noom Review

Every bride wants to look and feel your best on your big day. Don’t miss these pro tips from bridal makeup artist, Angela Morris.

Unfortunately, some women feel undeserved pressure to lose weight for the wedding day and decide to take some pretty drastic measures to achieve a certain bridal body. I’m going to share all about a tool I found that I believe to be hugely helpful in making positive changes in your health, wellness, and happiness!

Every bride wants to look and feel her best on her big day, no one can deny that.

The truth is, my weight has fluctuated drastically over the years through cycles of highs and lows. When I got engaged, I was at a high point. my abusive relationship with food continued as I went on to gain even more weight before reaching my peak in 2013. I remember hitting 180 lbs on my 5’3 frame and realizing that something had to change, and for good.

My lifelong weight struggle

Achieving a true balance seemed elusive and mythical, but with time, support, and some helpful tools I’ve learned that it doesn’t have to be. I’m happy to report that I’m 50 lbs down from my highest weight. It took me over 5 years to reach my goal.

The key to finally healing the relationship with food and body image

Instead of looking at your wedding day as the weight-loss finish line that you have to race across, consider starting NOW and creating a more healthy and balanced life.

I’ve found a tool that is super handy and effective that I want to share with you. It’s called Noom, and it’s actually an app for your smartphone!
