The Flower Recipes
You can’t have a garden wedding without flowers, so our friends at BloomsByTheBox.com have whipped up two flower recipes using beautiful blooms that won’t break the bank!
Carnations are a great choice for any bride who’s on a budget because they come in a wide range of colors and can create the appearance of a fuller, bigger bloom when bunched together. They paired these affordable stems with Peach Ghobi Roses and Spray Roses to bring in a little color. Eucalyptus is a great filler and looks super dreamy when paired with these blush blooms. The results are total garden wedding perfection, and both of these arrangements cost around $30!*

Tips for pulling off a Garden Wedding on a Budget

- Play on the outdoor garden theme and let your ceremony space double as a reception area. You can even use the chairs from the ceremony as dining chairs if you time cocktail hour just right!
- If your garden wedding is during the summer, try and position it near an area with shade or near an indoor area with air conditioning. Splurge for menus, programs, or place cards that have thicker stock so they can double as fans!
- If your garden party is at night, check with local government to see if there are sound ordinances/is a curfew for that area
- Floral arrangements should be placed in their spots no earlier than an hour prior to the beginning of an outdoor reception. Wilted flowers don’t promote the fun, romantic vibe associated with a garden party!
