By now I’m sure you’ve heard all about the 2016 Pantone Color of the Year — this is the first time ever that the color experts have chosen two colors for the year. In 2016, there are two colors of the year and they are a pale pink shade known as Rose Quartz as well as a powdery blue called Serenity.
Both of these gorgeous colors are going to make a major impression on the design world in 2016, and that definitely includes weddings! These two shades are going to be the hottest colors for weddings in 2016â do you plan to use either of these colors in your big day?

Rose Quartz
This warm, pale pink shade is going to be a beautiful shade for weddings. Whether you incorporate the hue in your bridesmaids dresses, flowers, or other decor — rose quartz is going to add a feminine, ethereal quality to your wedding theme.
Serenity
Serenity is a cool powdery blue. In some instances, I feel like it closely recognizes a periwinkle shade and has subtle tones of purple in it. This color is going to be beautiful for weddings as well! As a bridesmaids dress, or in flowers such as hydrangeas, this blue shade is going to look perfect when paired with khaki, grey or navy suits on the groomsmen.
