It seems that as soon as we got engaged, several of my friends started adding some extra bling to their left hand as well. This meant picking out a lot of different adorable gifts, most of them I wanted for myself, but to give to these beautiful ladies to celebrate their “I Do's”. While websites like Etsy and Pinterest have graced us with the pleasure of monogram and engagement ring overload, there are just some bridal shower gifts that stand out above the rest.
When choosing gifts for these special ladies, I thought about what I would actually use and want. Will they need the flip flops that say “just married” when they walk in the sand? Are they even going on a beach-y honeymoon? Once the shower rolls around, the bride is likely focused on the wedding and everything afterwards. Instead of all of the newly engaged items, it's the time for things she will use as a Wife. Hopefully these Bridal Shower gift ideas will help you out when it comes to purchasing for your friends (or your own) upcoming nuptials.
I love this bracelet as a possible additional piece of jewelry for the reception, with the brides new initial. It's such a sweet sentiment, especially if its from her MOH or Bridesmaids.
Anything with the brides new last name would be adorable, but this apron is perfect! I would love one of these for while I am crafting, it's great to have everything close by.
You know I had to throw in a monogram somewhere. This monogrammed hat would be perfect for the bride that loves being outdoors or on the beach! This is a great, inexpensive personal gift.
A wine basket for “firsts” is becoming more and more popular, for obvious reasons, but it really is something to carry on for possibly several years after your marriage. I have given a few of these and it's so fun to buy or create the labels for each wine.
Another idea that would be a great “post-wedding” gift would be a massage! I know I feel like I should have had one monthly while planning our wedding, and I don't know a girl that would say no to relaxation for an hour! While all of these gifts would be welcomed, you can never go wrong with checking the registry 😉
