helping brides create beautiful weddings without breaking the bank

Thank you to the team at Blooms by the Box for supporting our Blooms on a Budget series! This post contains affiliate links.

It’s Maddy from Somewhere Splendid and Confetti Pop again! I hope everyone had a great week, and will have an even better weekend. Let's kick it off with our sixth installment of Blooms on a Budget. Today's installment features some lovely fragrant hyacinth I grabbed from a local florist chain that screams spring. Since I'm based in Minnesota and we've just received another 4″ of snow in my area, I'm definitely anxious to see some of these lovely flowers outside, as well!

For this particular arrangement, I used a simple white vase I had on hand. In the arrangement, I combined some pale pink colored hyacinth stems with some white tulips and some eucalyptus greenery for a little extra color and texture. The result is a simple arrangement that would be perfect for a spring wedding! Since these darling little arrangements won't take up a ton of space, you could easily add candles, a table runner, or other colorful details to the center of the table to round out your centerpieces.

If you're on an extra tight budget, you could put one of the hyacinth stem or tulip in a bunch of tiny bud vases to spread the color out among your table for a fuller centerpiece, perhaps placing a large candle in the center. Another way to reduce the cost per arrangement or per table would be to incorporate extra filler pieces like the Ruscus stems or even baby's breath!

As always, I hope you enjoyed this simple arrangement and that it inspires or empowers you to attempt some DIY floral arranging of your own! Do you think you'll tackle any of the flowers for your big day? If so, I definitely recommend you check out the free guide for DIY Wedding Flowers from our friends at Blooms by the Box!
