This styled shoot was a collaboration with up and coming vendors throughout metro Atlanta.  Worrell Events fell in love with a tablecloth and that became the inspiration! We love the regal color scheme and sharp decor choices. Enjoy this Bold and Beautiful Styled Shoot!

Bold and Beautiful Styled Shoot

What was your design inspiration?

The inspiration behind the design was the linen that was used for the Estate Table.  It was bold and definitely beautiful. We also wanted to highlight some amazingly talented up and coming vendors in the Atlanta area.

Describe your flowers.

The florals for the centerpieces were lush; however, affordable.  We used Eucalyptus and Israeli Ruscus for the greenery with pops of color with red and pink roses and purple carnations.

Describe your cake.

Four tier buttercream cake with an intricate gold design.  The cake was set on a silver cake stand, surrounded by five gold pillar candle holders with cream pillar candles, and a simple and elegant gold wedding cake knife and server set.

Tell us about your attire choices.

The beautiful lace bridal gown was from a new collection at CTO Bridal. The Groom’s Tux was the Parker Tuxedo from Savvi Formalwear.  The Gown and Tuxedo did an awesome job of complimenting each other.

Please describe any handmade, DIY, or personal details.

Floral Arrangements were DIY by Worrell Events to keep the cost of styled shoot within budget.

Describe the tablescape elements.

Estate Table: Pink Radar Table Cloth, Gold Rim Glass Charges, Gold Flatware, Glass Stemware, Lamour Satin Eggplant Napkins, Bling Napkin Rings, Menu Cards, Gold Cirque Pillar Holders (Centerpieces) with floral arrangements, and Gold Pillar Candleholders with Cream Pillar candles for accent.

Sweetheart Table:  Cream Lace Overlay with Cream Table Cloth, Gold Cirque Pillar Holders with Cream Pillar Candles, Gold Taper Holders with Cream Taper Candles, Floral Arrangement with greenery and accent colors, Gold Rim Glass Charges,  Gold Flatware, Gold and Purple Stemware, Lamour Satin Eggplant Napkins, Bling Napkin Rings, and Menu Cards.

Guest Table:  Gold Crinkle Linen Table Cloth, Gold Rim Glass Charges, Lamour Satin Fuchsia Napkins with Bling Napkin Rings, Menu Cards, Glass Stemware, Gold Flatware, Various size Glass Cylinder Vases filled with White Orchids, and Floating Candles.

What is your best budget savvy advice for real brides and grooms?

Five Tips on Having a Bold, Beautiful, yet Budget Friendly Wedding.

We had an amazing time designing this Styled Shoot.  We wanted the shoot to be beautiful, yet obtainable for the everyday bride.   It’s disheartening when you see something you want and then learn the price tag is way out of reach.   There are ways to get quality items to create a beautifully designed look, you just have to be patient and consistent to have the Budget Savvy Wedding of your dreams.  Below are some key tips to get to be Bold and Beautiful on a Budget.

Use Bold Colors and or Vibrate Pattern Tablecloths to Make a Statement.  You will have a visually pleasing impact with the tablecloths and can keep the table centerpieces simple; therefore, making a smaller impact on your wedding budget.  I suggest renting tablecloths from a reputable vendor, this will save you time and money (do you really want to press and or steam tablecloths, then wash, press, and or steam to resale or reuse?).

Keeping Your Guest Count to a Minimum.  The more guests, the more tables, chairs, decor, food, etc. you will need.  8 guests can be seated comfortably at a 60 inch round table or an 8ft rectangle table. When making your guest list keep this in mind, the more guests, the more impact it will have on your wedding budget.

Know What Your Venue Offers.  Often times your venue will offer decor items that are included in the Wedding Package.  Instead of purchasing items such as tablecloths, candle holders, flowers, etc. on your own, see what your venue has to offer and then add your personal touch to make it special.

Repurpose Items: This is my favorite to do!  Spray paint old décor items, use yard sale finds, or use items that you have on hand for a different purpose.

Use flowers that are in Season:  If you pick flowers that are in season and stick to one or two types of flowers, this will definitely keep your cost down.   There are several reputable online wholesale shops that offer discount rates on bulk orders.
